Beer Bourgogne des Flandres

The beer Bourgogne des Flandres Brune/Bruin

Bourgogne des Flandres is the real taste of Bruges. The mixed fermentation is what makes this beer so special.

The top-fermented brown ale is subtly blended with the best spontaneously fermented lambic, which is then matured in oak barrels for many months. It is this process that gives the red-brown beer a rich, creamy finish.

In addition, this unique beer received a Superior Taste Award from the International Taste & Quality Institute in 2015. A panel of European sommeliers gave the beer’s complexity high ratings after an evaluation based on the first impression, the visual aspect, flavour, taste and mouthfeel.

Similar to the Flemish brown ales, with a fruity aftertaste that draws attention to its distinguished character.
