Lambic Beer Kriek Cuvée René

Probably our most complex product.
The pretty red Lambic Beer Kriek Cuvée René label with its Art Nouveau style was designed by famous American beer importer Charles Finkel.
In order to produce Old Kriek Cuvée René, the cherries ferment in a lambic that is at least six months old in huge 10,000-litre oak barrels called foudres. After six months, this traditional kriek is bottled in corked 75 cl bottles.
The beer will then undergo a spontaneous second fermentation process which, after a few months, will produce the carbon dioxide (CO2) to which this authentic beer owes its carbonation and distinctive foam head.

Lambic Beer Gueuze

The Lambic Beer Gueuze (Gefilterd)
Lambic Beer Gueuze filtered before being bottled, this is a sweet variation of old Gueuze. Filtered lambic beer gueuze (also called capped gueuze) was developed by lambic brewers in response to the arrival of pilsner beers.
Due to its 25 cl bottles, this sweetened version of traditional gueuze (which does not undergo a fermentation process in the bottle) had the advantage of being consumed by a wider audience and easier to store in a refrigerator.
A one year old lambic that is slightly sweet, making the gueuze more appealing to a wider audience.

What’s Lambic? Spontaneous fermentation is carried out without the controlled addition of yeast to the wort. It happens naturally, thanks to the micro-organisms in the air.
This exceptional brewing method, which is the oldest in the world, has been developed in our region from time immemorial. This natural technique requires patience and a unique know-how that we have mastered at the brewery here for almost 200 years.

Convento de Tomar Reserva Red wine

Premium quality red wine, produced in Portugal, in the Tejo Region at Tomar.
It’s classified as one DOC do Tejo wine.

The Convento de Tomar Reserva red wine has an intense garnet color with violet hues.

Deep and intense aroma of ripe fruit, with flower notes and a little touch of spices.

Concentrated in the mouth, full-bodied, with fine tannins present but elegant.

The fruit proves to be quite intense, with spicy hints; Long, harmonious and elegant finish.

Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon - 25% Syrah - 25%

Vinification: Selective manual harvesting in 20 kg boxes.

Total destemming followed by natural and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature at 26ºC.

After the malolactic fermentation is followed a slight stage in French and American oak barrel, maintaining the original character of the grape varieties, which will promote a better evolution and balance of the wine.
